On a plane trip, the executive producer of Nelson’s movie Honeysuckle Rose asked him to contribute a tune about life on tour. He quickly scrawled down the lyrics for “On the Road Again.” “I like to show off occasionally,” said Nelson, who still spends some 200 days a year on tour.
